Serdar Gurbandurdyyev (born August 8, 1974) Chairman of the Board of the Joint-stock commercial bank “Rysgal” since October 2018. Prior to this, he served as Deputy Chairman of the State Bank for Foreign Economic Affairs of Turkmenistan from 2010 to 2018 and as Deputy Governor for Turkmenistan at the Asian Development Bank in 2018. His extensive career in the banking sector includes senior roles in lending divisions focused on transport, communications, industry, and public sector organizations. Gurbandurdyyev holds a construction engineer diploma from the Turkmen State Construction Institute (1991-1995) and is fluent in Turkmen and Russian.
