Saoud Al-Saadi is Head of Government Corporate Banking at AlRayan Bank Group, one of Qatar's largest Islamic banks and the country's second-largest Shari'ah-compliant institution following its 2021 merger with Al Khalij Commercial Bank. He leads a portfolio of some QAR 60 billion spanning government and public-sector clients, and brings more than 17 years of experience advising government entities on corporate banking and strategic national financing. His career has been built within the bank over more than a decade and a half, progressing from customer service and relationship management roles through to Unit Head of the Government and Syndication Unit before his promotion to his current position. His work centres on corporate relationships, portfolio management, syndicated financing, and structuring facilities for Qatar's public sector, with colleagues frequently commending his rigorous financial analysis, credit judgment, and strategic stakeholder management. Beyond banking, he has served as President of the Qatar Chapter of MELA Academy, an international leadership development organisation. He holds a Master's in Finance from Northumbria University, an Executive Master's degree from HEC Paris, and is a graduate of the Executive Leaders Programme at the Qatar Leadership Center (QLC).
