1. Introduction
Turkmen Congress (the "Organizer," "we," "us," or "our") organizes the Turkmenistan Investment Forum 2026 ("TIF 2026," the "Forum") and operates the TIF 2026 online registration platform, the attendee dashboard (web and mobile app), and related services (together, the "Platform").
This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect when you register for and participate in TIF 2026, how we use and protect it, who we share it with, and the rights and choices you have. It applies to delegates, speakers, sponsors, and anyone who creates an account or submits a form on the Platform.
This Policy should be read together with our Terms and Conditions and the Delegate Agreement, which govern your participation in the Forum. Where those documents describe your consent to the processing of personal data, your consent to photography and filming, and the confidentiality and legal framework of your participation, this Policy explains how we handle your personal data in practice. By completing registration and selecting the "I Agree" checkbox, you accept those Terms and acknowledge this Privacy Policy.
2. Who is responsible for your data
Turkmen Congress is the Organizer responsible for the personal data collected through the Platform. If you have any questions about this Policy or your data, contact us using the details in Section 15.
3. Personal data we collect
We collect only the information needed to register you, arrange your participation, and administer the Forum. Depending on how you use the Platform, this may include:
Identity and contact details — full name, contact person, company or organization, job title or position, country, city, postal code, email address, and phone/mobile numbers.
Registration details — your participation package and registration type (for example International or National delegate), registration ID, and your attendee dashboard login credentials.
Identity and travel documents — a scan or photo of your passport and a profile photograph, which you upload to complete registration and to generate your delegate badge and, where applicable, your invitation letter and visa support.
Meeting requests — information you submit for B2B, B2G, and official bilateral meeting requests, which may include the requested organization, ministry, government authority, company or institution, the name and position of the requested representative, the purpose and subject of the meeting, and any other details reasonably required to arrange the meeting.
Logistics and service requests — details for hotel accommodation, flight/travel, visa support, and any other optional services you request.
Payment and billing information — your chosen payment method, package amount, currency, payment status, invoices, and the auto-generated delegate agreement. We do not store full card numbers or banking credentials on the Platform; card and bank payments are handled by the relevant payment provider or by bank transfer outside the Platform.
Sponsor and speaker submissions — Information provided when applying to become a speaker or sponsor.
On-site and attendance information — check-in records generated by the QR code on your digital badge when you arrive at the Forum.
Images and recordings — photographs, video, and audio captured during the Forum, as described in Section 8.
Technical and security information — data needed to keep the Platform secure, including anti-bot verification (for example Cloudflare Turnstile) used on the registration form, and standard technical data such as device or browser information.
We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18 years of age; the Platform is intended for professional participants only.
4. How we collect your data
We collect data directly from you when your register, set up your attendee dashboard, upload documents, communicate with us, or submit event forms (including travel, visa, sponsor and speaker details). We also automatically collect standard technical data when you use the platform, and capture select photos and recordings on-site during the Forum.

We use your personal data to:
As set out in the Terms and Conditions, you consent to the collection, storage, and processing of your personal data for registration, accreditation, visa support, organization of meetings, and administration of the Forum. Personal data is processed solely for purposes related to the Forum and in accordance with applicable legislation. We also rely on the performance of our agreement with you and our legitimate interest in running and securing the event.
6. How we share your data
Your data is treated as confidential and shared only where necessary to deliver your participation and the services you request:
Service and travel providers — hotels, airlines and travel agents, and visa/immigration and consular authorities, to fulfill your accommodation, flight, and visa support requests.
Ministries, government authorities and institutions — for B2B, B2G, and official bilateral meeting requests, which are subject to review by the Organizer and, where applicable, confirmation by the relevant ministries, government authorities, state agencies, state-owned enterprises, organizations, or other competent institutions.
Payment and financial partners — banks and payment providers, to process payments and issue invoices.
Technology providers — the platform, hosting, and security services that operate the Platform on our behalf (for example our no-code platform and anti-bot verification provider), acting under our instructions.
Authorities — where we are required to do so by law, or to protect the safety and rights of participants and the event.
We do not sell your personal data. Delegate badges are personal and non-transferable, and your participation rights and the information you provide may not be transferred to another party except as permitted under the Terms and the Delegate Agreement (for example, an approved substitute delegate from the same organization).
7. Meetings, visa support, and information you provide
Arranging B2B/B2G and bilateral meetings and providing invitation letters and visa support depends on you supplying complete, accurate, and timely information within the Organizer's deadlines. The Organizer does not guarantee that any requested meeting will be arranged, and is not responsible for decisions made by government authorities, including visa refusal, delayed issuance, or denial of entry. This Policy describes how we handle the data you provide for these purposes; the responsibilities and limitations are set out in the Terms and Conditions.
8. Photography, filming, and recordings
By participating in the Forum, and as set out in the Terms and Conditions, you grant the Organizer the right to photograph, film, and record audio during the Forum. Such materials may be used by the Organizer for promotional, informational, reporting, archival, and marketing purposes without additional compensation. If you have concerns about the use of your image, contact us using the details in Section 15.
9. Data security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data. Account passwords are stored in hashed form and never in plain text, uploaded documents and payment data are handled through secure channels, and access to personal data is limited to authorized organizing staff who need it for their work. Certain administrative actions are recorded in an audit log. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and while we work hard to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Data retention
We keep your data for as long as needed to organize and deliver TIF 2026, to maintain accurate registration, financial, and accounting records (including in connection with our cancellation and refund policy), and to comply with our legal obligations. When data is no longer needed, we take steps to delete or anonymize it.
11. International transfer of data
TIF 2026 is held in Turkmenistan and the Organizer is based in Turkmenistan. If you register from another country, your data will be processed in Turkmenistan and, where relevant, shared with the providers and authorities involved in delivering your participation, travel, meetings, and visa arrangements.
12. Your rights and choices
Subject to applicable law, you may ask us to access the personal data we hold about you, correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete, or delete data we no longer need to keep. You can update much of your profile information directly in the attendee dashboard. To make a request, contact us using the details in Section 15. We may need to verify your identity before acting, and some data may be retained where we are required or permitted to keep it.
13. Cookies and analytics
The Platform may use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, keep the site secure, and understand how the Platform is used so we can improve it. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect how the Platform works.
14. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of the Platform after an update means you accept the revised Policy.

16. Governing law
This Privacy Policy, and any matter relating to your personal data and participation in TIF 2026, is governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Turkmenistan. Any dispute shall first be resolved through negotiation and, failing that, submitted to the competent courts of Turkmenistan, consistent with the Terms and Conditions and the Delegate Agreement.
