Vadim Akimov was born on 12 July 1965. Nationality: Dutch. Marital status: married, with two children. Professional experience includes a long-standing career with Damen Shipyards. From 2001 to 2007, served as Sales Manager at Damen Shipyards in the Cargo Ships Department. From 2007 to 2011, served as Sales Manager at Damen Shipyards Gorinchem. Since 2011, has served as Sales Director at Damen Shipyards Gorinchem. Higher education was obtained at Admiral Makarov National University of Shipbuilding, Ukraine, where studies were completed from 1984 to 1992.
