Mr. Simon Andrews is Division Director for Pakistan, Afghanistan, Kyrgyz Republic, Tajikistan, and Turkmenistan at the International Finance Corporation (IFC), the World Bank Group. He has over 25 years of experience leading investment and advisory operations across emerging markets. Previously, he was Head of IFC’s Corporate Secretariat and spearheaded global partnerships, securing over $1 billion in donor funding. Simon has managed country programs in China, Mongolia, Korea, and the Mekong Region, and established IFC’s Digital Economy practice. His sector expertise spans manufacturing, services, private equity, energy and renewable power. Before joining IFC, he worked in corporate banking in Australia. He holds an MBA from London Business School and is a CFA charter holder.
