He received a diploma of mining engineer atTurkmen Polytechnic Institute . Having started his career in July 2003 as an assistant driller in the expedition “Anevnebitgazgozleiysh” of the trust “Turkmennebitgazgozleiysh” of the State Corporation “Turkmengeologia”, Jumaev then served in the army. After his service, from 2004 to 2006, he continued to work as an assistant driller and assistant branch manager for Dariya Management Services. From 2006 to 2009, he held various positions in the Gas Technical Control Service of the Nebitgazhovypsyzlyk Military Directorate. From 2010 to 2014, he worked as Chief Specialist for Oil and Gas Field Development at the State Agency for Management and Utilization of Oil and Gas Resources under the President of Turkmenistan. From 2014 to 2019, he held the positions of Chief Engineer and Head of Departments at the State Concern Turkmengaz. In 2020, he was acting head of the Cheleken Division of the Production Sharing Agreements Department and head of the Nebitdag Division of the State Concern “Turkmennebit”. From 2021 to 2022, he was Acting Head of the Production Sharing Agreements Department of the State Concern “Turkmenneft”. Since May 27, 2022, he has been Deputy Chairman of the State Concern “Turkmennebit”.
