Mr. SHIM Chul Jin is Senior Vice President and Head of the Civil Engineering Business Division at Daewoo E&C. He joined Daewoo E&C in 1996 and has more than 30 years of professional experience in civil engineering, construction management, project controls, procurement, and project execution. Prior to his current position, he served as Executive in Charge of Subcontracting & Outsourcing in the Procurement Division and held various managerial positions, including Team Leader of the Subcontracting & Outsourcing Team, Project Director and Project Controls Lead for the Daegok–Sosa Double-track Railway Section 4 Project, and Team Leader of the Civil Construction Management and Civil Estimating & Bidding teams. Mr. SHIM holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Sungkyunkwan University, Seoul, Korea.
