A delegation of the Academy of Civil Service under the President of Turkmenistan exchanged experience with counterparts from the member states of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) at the 5th conference "Human Resources in the Era of Digitalisation and Artificial Intelligence: Development, Prospects and Challenges", held in Azerbaijan. The conference was organised by the State Examination Center of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Alongside representatives of the OTS member states' agencies responsible for human resources development, it brought together heads of public administration bodies, IT specialists, and experts in digitalisation and artificial intelligence systems. Discussions focused on strengthening human capital, integrating digital technologies and artificial intelligence into public administration, and improving the quality of public services. Addressing the conference, Maleyka Abbaszade, Chairperson of the Board of Directors of Azerbaijan's State Examination Center, noted that the country's constitutional and institutional reforms had shaped a new philosophy of governance centred on close engagement with citizens. She identified transparency, meritocracy and equal opportunities in recruitment to the civil service as its key element. During the forum, representatives of the Turkmen academy exchanged views with international experts and representatives of public administration academies from other countries. This is expected to help consolidate modern professional standards and international experience in training civil servants in the digital era and to introduce them into national educational practice.
