Batyr Jumayev holds a degree in Mining Engineering from the Turkmen Polytechnic Institute. He began his career in July 2003 as an assistant driller at the “Anewnebitgazgozleyish” expedition of the Turkmengeology State Corporation and later served in the army. Between 2004 and 2006, he worked as an assistant driller and branch deputy head at Dariya Management Services. From 2006 to 2009, he served in the Gas Technical Control Service of the “Nebitgazhowypsyzlyk” Military Directorate. From 2010 to 2014, he was a chief oil and gas field development specialist at the State Agency for Hydrocarbon Resources under the President of Turkmenistan. From 2014 to 2019, he held engineering and department head positions at the Turkmengaz State Concern. Between 2020 and 2022, he worked in key roles at the Turkmennebit State Concern, and since May 27, 2022, he has been Deputy Chairman of the State Concern Turkmennebit.
