Serdar Saparov is a seasoned energy professional with extensive experience in designing and managing power transmission projects. He graduated from the State Energy Institute of Turkmenistan in 2010. Since August 2021, he has served as the Deputy Minister of Energy of Turkmenistan. Before this role, he was Deputy Chairman of the Department of International Electric Power Projects focusing on the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan route (2020–2021) and Chief Engineer at the Turkmenenergotaslama Institute (2016–2020). Earlier positions include Head of the Topogeodetic Engineering-Survey Division, Chief Specialist, and Engineer in the Department of Designing Power Transmission Systems. His career reflects strong expertise in power engineering and commitment to advancing Turkmenistan's energy sector and international cooperation.
