Laura Linderman is Director of Programs and a Senior Fellow at the American Foreign Policy Council's Central Asia-Caucasus Institute (CACI). Her research focuses on South Caucasus politics, economics, and foreign relations, while leading strategic programming and outreach for the Institute. She contributes to CACI's broader regional initiatives on Greater Central Asia, helping reframe U.S. strategy across the Caucasus, Central Asia, and Afghanistan. A sought-after voice in Washington policy circles on Georgia, Linderman has consulted with senior officials at the State Department, National Security Council, and U.S. Embassy in Tbilisi. Previously, she was a Senior Fellow with the Atlantic Council's Eurasia Center (2015–2024) and Associate Director (2012–2014). She also taught at the U.S. Department of State's Foreign Service Institute, coordinating instruction on the South Caucasus.
Linderman holds degrees from Wellesley College and Indiana University and speaks Georgian and German.
