Dr. Voetsch has 30+ years’ international experience in 33 countries across Africa, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East. He has extensive experience leading teams in countries implementing projects that require forging partnerships between civil society organizations, private sector businesses, and public sector entities with a focus on facilitating economic growth through trade and streamlined government processes. Dr. Voetsch has served as the Chief of Party on USAID projects in Afghanistan and India. Previously, he served as an international civil servant with the World Health Organization in Sudan following work with the United Nations Volunteers program in Sri Lanka. Dr. Voetsch began his international work as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Korea and then Yemen. Finally, Dr. Voetsch possesses a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Management and Technology from the George Washington University in Washington, D.C., USA. He also holds a Master’s in Project Management from George Washington University along with a Master’s of Public Administration degree and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science both from The American University in Washington, D.C., USA.
