Babanyyaz YALAKOV graduated in 2014 from the Belarusian National Technical University, specializing as an economist-manager and in 2023 from the The Academy of state service under the President of Turkmenistan (advanced training). In 2015 to 2018, he was Head of Planned economy department of the State enterprise “Turkmendemironumleri”. In 2018 to 2019, he was Head of Industrial Sector Department of the State Committee of Turkmenistan on Statistics. In 2019 to 2021, he led Export and Import Analysis Department of the Agency for the protection from economic risks under the Ministry of finance and economy of Turkmenistan. In 2021 to 2024, he was head of Financial Analysis of the Fuel and Energy Sector Division of Management of Finance and Development of Economic Sectors Department of the Ministry of finance and economy of Turkmenistan. In 2024, Mr. Yalakov was appointed Deputy Minister of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan.
