Ms Renata Wróbel graduated from the Department of German Philology of the University of Wroclaw and the Trade Department of the O. Lange Academy of Economics in Wroclaw. Upon completion of her studies, she worked on development and humanitarian aid projects in Mozambique and Malawi. In 2002-2006, she worked in the Administrative Department of the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights in Warsaw. After Poland's accession to the EU, she was recruited by the Polish Economic and Legal Affairs Section of the European Commission's Directorate General for Translation in Luxembourg. Following her keen interest in foreign affairs, in 2007 she joined the European Commission's Directorate General for External Relations in Brussels (cooperation with Russia). In 2010-2018 she was posted to EU Delegations to Georgia and Belarus. Currently she works as Political Counsellor in the EU Delegation to Turkmenistan and deputises for the Head of Mission.
